How do you guys add account to Microsoft Outlook

I just wanted to link the account with Outlook for Mac 2011, but failed. There weren’t any problems with the Hotmail account before, I could do that easily. Who can tell how to add the new account to Outlook? Besides, I want it work well.

I did it when I do the following. I suppose you can have a try.
1. Start the Outlook on the Mac
2. Select Tools on the menu and choose Accounts
3. Click “+” icon to dropdown the list, and click E-mail
4. Type your account details in the dialog window, including mail address and password
5. Check Configure automatically option
6. Click the button Add Account
