I encounter such a problem as contractions in Outlook. When I begin the words with “I’, it does not come out as what I expect. For example, when I want to type “I’m”, “I’ll”, etc, I get “I’ M” and “I’ L”. Then a beep follows but I cannot type anything. I try deleting the previous characters and pressing “I am” and “I will”, the above odd things disappear. It seems it is the problem of the auto spell checker. Can anyone tell why and how I can fix it?
Thanks for any info!

Yes! I think you should uncheck the “Capitalize first letter of sentences” which belongs to the autocorrect setting in Outlook. Then you can use it as normal. Please follow the steps below:
Start your Outlook, click Outlook > Preferences > Autocorrect, and then uncheck “Capitalize first letter of sentences”
