In IE it's quite easy to block specific websites -- just enter website URLs on a "forbid" list and it's done. Can't figure out how to do that (easily) in Firefox.

If you usually allow pop-up windows, you can block certain sites from using them.
1. How to review and alter your pop-up settings?
a. (WIN) orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Content
b. (MAC) Firefox menu > Preferences > Content

2. Here are some useful add-ons. Each of these blocking extensions works differently, so compare and find the one that works best for you.
BlockSite: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/tag/block
LeechBlock: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... eechblock/

Hope it works!
