How to Remove CryptoJoker Virus Successfully

According to its behaviors, CryptoJoker is classified as a ransomware which is able to lock the infected computer and play a scam to victims. Generally, cyber criminals may embed this virus into some spam emails or some free programs, so that they can spread CryptoJoker widely to random users. As long as you are infected by CryptoJoker, your nightmare will begin and you cannot get rid of it easily. Commonly, within a second, your files will be encrypted with a .crjoker file extension and you have no right to access these files anymore. Later, CryptoJoker will display a warning for you, which says that you have to offer a payment in the time as it displays if you want to unlock the screen.

Step 1: Remove CryptoJoker virus using Safe Mode with Networking

For Windows XP, Vista and 7 users:

1. Restart your computer and keep hitting F8 key on your keyboard before Windows loads

2. Move your arrow key to highlight Safe Mode with Networking and then press Enter

4. After that, type in shutdown -r and press Enter key on the keyboard

Step 3: Remove CryptoJoker virus using System Restore

In case your newly-created user account is also infected with this ransomware, please try to perform a System Restore.

1. Start your system into Safe Mode with Command Prompt as Step 2 shows
